What Angry Alarm does

Angry Alarm is an alarm clock that can require you to win a game before an alarm stops: solving sums, taking a photo, or dancing in front of the camera. It requires no account, contains no ads and has no in-app purchases.

Information stored on your device

Your alarms (times, labels, repeat days, ringtone choice, games and difficulty) and your settings are stored in private app storage on your device. They are not sent to Entegrators, and the app excludes them from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes them.

Camera

Angry Alarm asks for camera access only for the Take Pic and Dance games, and uses the camera only while one of those games is on screen. If you refuse, those games are replaced with sums. In Take Pic, one photo is checked for brightness in memory and then discarded. In Dance, camera frames are analysed on your device to track your body position. Angry Alarm does not save camera images or video to your device and does not upload them to Entegrators or anyone else.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Angry Alarm uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and improve it. It records events such as app opens, screens viewed, alarms saved, rung, snoozed, dismissed or missed, and games completed, with coarse details such as the difficulty level and how many games an alarm uses. Google also automatically receives information such as an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send alarm labels, alarm times, ringtone names or camera data to analytics. Analytics is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in Settings > Usage Analytics, which stops collection and resets the analytics identifier on your device. Angry Alarm does not collect the Android advertising ID and denies all advertising signals to Google Analytics.

Google ML Kit

The Dance game uses Google's ML Kit pose-detection library, which runs on your device. ML Kit sends Google technical diagnostics, which Google describes as device information, app package name and version, a per-installation identifier, performance metrics, API configuration, input and output sizes, event types and error codes, used for diagnostics and usage analytics. Google's published list of this data does not include camera images. These diagnostics are not controlled by the Usage Analytics setting. See https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/android-data-disclosure.

Purposes and sharing

We use this information for analytics and to keep the app working well. Google processes it as our service provider and under its own terms. Entegrators does not sell user data and does not use it for advertising or personalized ads. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Entegrators has no accounts or user database, so we cannot look up or identify an individual user's data. Alarms and settings are removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. Turning off Usage Analytics stops further analytics collection and resets the identifier on your device. Data already received by Google is kept and handled according to Google's analytics settings and policies. Questions about your privacy, and any rights available to you under applicable law, can be sent to support@entegrators.com.
