Overview
Entegrators provides PDF Viewer, the Android app identified by package com.entegrators.pdfviewer. No account is required. PDFs are opened, edited, and exported on your device and are never uploaded. The app contains no advertising.
This policy describes locally stored files and app data, usage analytics, and your choices. Contact support@entegrators.com with questions.
Files and app data
When you pick a PDF, PDF Viewer copies it into private app storage. After you enter the password for a password-protected PDF, the app decrypts it into a private copy. The password is not saved.
Thumbnails, annotations—including highlights, text, signatures, redactions, and form fields—saved signatures, recent files, last page, and settings are stored on your device. Android cloud backup is disabled.
Editing and redaction
Editing and redaction take place locally. When you export a PDF with redactions, affected pages are rendered as images so covered content is not included on those pages. The original imported PDF stays in the app until you delete it there.
Usage analytics
PDF Viewer uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to collect usage statistics that are not linked to your identity. This information includes:
- Screens opened and app sessions.
- Counts such as a document’s page count or how many highlights, text boxes, signatures, redactions, and form fields an export contains.
- A Firebase app-instance identifier.
- Basic device and app information: device model, Android version, app version, and language.
- Approximate location at country or region level, derived by Google from the IP address.
The app does not collect the Android Advertising ID and does not enable ad personalization. It never sends file names, document contents, passwords, signatures, or anything you type. Counts of signatures or other annotations do not include their contents.
Analytics data is encrypted in transit using TLS and processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Analytics data is not linked to your identity, so individual deletion requests cannot be matched to a person.
Other network use
Apart from analytics, nothing is uploaded by the app. Rate the app uses Google Play’s review flow. Opening Privacy or Terms from Settings opens your browser. Files you explicitly share are handled by the receiving app as described above.
Retention and deletion
Files stay until you delete them in PDF Viewer, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Copies saved to Downloads or shared elsewhere must be deleted separately there.
Imported originals and exported copies are separate files. Deleting one does not remove the others.
Children
PDF Viewer is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date will change when a revised policy is published at this URL.
