Acceptance and use of Edite
These terms apply to Edite, package com.edite.app, the Android photo editor provided by Entegrators. By using Edite, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. Subject to these terms, you may use Edite’s photo-editing tools on compatible Android devices for lawful purposes.
Your images and content rights
You retain ownership of your images and other content. Using Edite does not transfer ownership of your photos to Entegrators or grant Entegrators rights to use them for advertising or AI training.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights, permissions, and consent to import, edit, export, or share content. Respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and other rights of people whose work or likeness appears in your images.
Local projects and backups
Edite stores app-private source images, project metadata, editing operations, and preferences on your device. It does not provide accounts or cloud project sync. Android automatic cloud backup and app-private device transfer are disabled.
Closing the editor can discard unsaved changes. Clearing local data or uninstalling Edite can remove projects and settings. Export or back up important work before clearing data, uninstalling, or changing devices. Do not rely on app-private storage as your only copy.
You can explicitly create or restore an .edite-backup.zip through Android’s document picker. You are responsible for choosing the storage destination, protecting backup files, and keeping usable copies. Exported images and backups remain under your control and must be deleted separately from app-private data.
Editing and export limitations
Editing and subject segmentation operate on the device and depend on image characteristics, available processing components, storage, memory, device capability, and supported formats. Exports are saved to the device’s Pictures collection at your request. Export settings, compression, resizing, and device behavior can affect quality or output. Check the exported result and keep original files before relying on an edited copy. We do not guarantee every image, operation, or export will succeed.
Google services, advertising, and usage analytics
Edite uses Google ML Kit for on-device subject segmentation; ML Kit or Google Play services may download required processing components, and ML Kit sends diagnostic and usage data to Google as described in the privacy policy.
Edite 0.1.2 includes optional Google Analytics for Firebase. It is off by default and collects data only if you turn on Settings → Privacy → Usage analytics; you can turn it off again at any time.
Edite 0.1.2 displays no advertising. Advertising code is prepared for possible future updates, and any such update would require a new app release and a revised privacy policy.
These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Read the Edite Privacy Policy for data handling and available controls.
Accounts and purchases
This release does not implement user accounts, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. There is no account-creation or account-deletion process.
Lawful and responsible use
Do not use Edite to create or distribute unlawful content, violate others’ rights, or interfere with the app or its security. Do not falsely represent edited content in a way that infringes applicable law or another person’s rights. You are responsible for your use and distribution of edited images.
Application intellectual property
Edite’s original software, branding, and interface are owned by or licensed to Entegrators. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and rights. These application rights do not change your ownership of your images.
Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Edite is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted service, error-free editing, preservation of every project, suitability for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device or file. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Entegrators is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Edite, including loss of unsaved work, locally stored projects, or image quality. This limitation does not exclude or limit liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Updates and stopping use
Entegrators may update Edite, change features, or discontinue a feature or the application. We may revise these terms and publish the revised version at this URL with a new effective date; material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate. You may stop using Edite at any time. Before uninstalling or clearing its data, export or back up work you want to keep.
