Namaze Privacy Policy

Introduction and scope

Entegrators provides Namaze, the Android application identified by package com.entegrators.namaze. Namaze offers prayer times, prayer reminders, Qibla guidance, and a personal prayer tracker. This policy explains how the app handles information and the choices available to you.

Namaze has no account system, subscriptions, payments, advertisements, or advertising SDK. Contact support@entegrators.com with privacy questions.

Information stored on your device

Your display name, chosen or detected prayer location, calculation method, fiqh preferences, manual time adjustments, reminder settings, and prayer history are stored in private app storage on your device. Prayer-time calculations take place on the device.

The GPS or manually entered prayer location is not uploaded to Entegrators or Firebase Analytics. This does not mean that all information stays on the device: if you opt in, Firebase Analytics processes the limited information described below.

Optional location and Qibla guidance

Location permission is optional. Precise or approximate location is used on-device for prayer-time and Qibla calculations. You can decline permission and enter a location manually. You can change location permissions in Android Settings.

Compass readings are processed live on your device to provide direction guidance. They are not stored or transmitted.

Notifications and alarms

Prayer notifications and optional full-screen alarms are scheduled locally. Notification and alarm permissions support displaying and sounding these reminders. You control these permissions in Android Settings. Delivery also depends on operating-system and device settings, as explained in the Terms of Use.

Optional Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics is integrated, but collection is off by default. It requires your explicit opt-in during onboarding or through Profile → Share Anonymous Usage. This is the name of the app’s setting; it does not mean the collected information is completely anonymous.

If you opt in, Analytics can include an app-instance identifier, generic screen views, sessions and lifecycle events, device and app information, and approximate location derived from an IP address. This approximate location is distinct from the GPS or manually entered location used for prayer calculations.

Analytics does not receive your display name, prayer history or completion status, precise or manually entered prayer location, calculation or fiqh preferences, reminder choices, or compass readings.

We use Analytics to understand app usage and improve Namaze. Google processes this information as the analytics provider. See the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.

Advertising ID collection and ad personalization are disabled in Namaze. This policy does not claim to verify or change Google account-level settings.

Your analytics choices

You can disable analytics in Profile. Doing so stops future collection and resets the installation’s analytics identifier. Resetting this identifier does not delete all information previously transmitted to Google.

Analytics remains optional. You can use Namaze’s prayer features without opting in to analytics.

Export and backup

Android cloud backup is disabled for Namaze. The app’s Export & Backup feature uses Android’s share sheet. Exported information goes only to the destination you select.

Once you select a destination, its own storage, sharing, and privacy policies apply. Keep exported copies secure and manage or delete them through the destination you selected.

Retention and deletion

Local settings and prayer history remain in private app storage until you delete them. Profile → Delete Local Data erases local settings and prayer history and disables and resets analytics. Uninstalling Namaze also removes its private app data.

Separately exported copies are not deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling. Delete those separately wherever you saved or shared them.

Previously transmitted analytics information follows the applicable Google Analytics retention and deletion configuration and provider policies. We do not state a specific retention period or promise that a local reset erases Google’s records. You can send privacy or deletion inquiries to support@entegrators.com. Because Namaze has no accounts, an email address alone may not let us identify records associated with a particular installation.

Service providers and international processing

When you opt in to analytics, Google receives the Analytics information described above. When you export or back up information, it is sent to the destination you choose. These activities are separate from the prayer data retained privately on your device.

Google and any export destination you select may process information in countries other than your country. Their processing and retention practices are described in their own policies.

Security

Namaze uses Android private app storage for locally retained information, limits analytics to the information described here, and leaves analytics collection disabled until you opt in. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the app, but no device, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and any exported copies.

Children’s privacy

Namaze is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you have a concern about a child’s information in connection with Namaze, contact support@entegrators.com so we can review it.

This website

This policy describes the Namaze Android app. These Namaze legal pages do not set cookies or include analytics, advertising, third-party embeds, or page-specific tracking. The website host receives ordinary network requests needed to serve the pages. Visiting an external link is subject to the destination’s practices.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when Namaze or its data handling changes. Updated versions will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
